Last updated: April 9, 2026
How to request deletion
Send an email to gear.lab.dev@gmail.com with the subject line Gear laB Delete Account Request.
What to include in your request
- Your Google sign-in email address, if you used Google Sign-In.
- Your Gear laB Firebase user ID or public user ID, if available.
- Your display name or any identifying profile details that help locate the account.
- A short statement confirming that you want your account and associated cloud data deleted.
If you only used the app anonymously and do not know your identifiers, Gear laB may need additional details to confirm which account to remove.
What Gear laB will delete
Where reasonably linked to your account, Gear laB will aim to delete or de-identify:
- profile information such as display name and profile photo URL;
- cloud-backed Daily challenge progress and related account-linked progress records;
- cloud-backed stats or gameplay result records tied to your account;
- other account-linked records maintained by Gear laB systems.
What may not be deleted immediately or directly by Gear laB
- purchase, subscription, and billing records maintained by Google Play or RevenueCat;
- crash, security, backup, or compliance records retained as needed for legitimate operational or legal reasons;
- local data stored only on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Response time
Gear laB aims to review deletion requests within 14 business days. More time may be needed if account verification or platform coordination is required.
Need help first?
If you only want to stop using the app, you can also uninstall it and clear local app data on your device. For questions about what will be deleted, contact gear.lab.dev@gmail.com.
